The VIDAR vacuum interrupter tester allows for quick and convenient integrity checks using the known relationship between breakdown voltage and vacuum interrupters.
An appropriate DC test voltage is applied to the automatic circuit breaker, and the result is immediately displayed. You can select a test voltage from 10 to 60 kV DC, with one of these voltages configurable during order. Readings are straightforward: if the breaker passes, a green light indicates approval; if it fails, a red light signals failure. It requires two-handed operation and includes a warning light that activates upon detecting high voltage, enhancing safety.
