Product description The DDA-1 model digital control and data acquisition system High output current: 60,000 A for DDA-6000; 35,000 A for DDA-3000 Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology Adjustable pulse duration and trip angle, output current control Meets NEMA AB-4 testing standards The universal test sets DDA-3000 and DDA-6000 are specifically designed for testing low-voltage power and molded case circuit breakers equipped with thermal, magnetic, or solid-state trip devices. Versatile in application, these test sets can verify nearly all low-voltage, molded case, and metal-enclosed AC circuit breakers, fully complying with NEMA AB-4 standards.
The unique transformer and circuit design provide high testing capacity in a very compact size. Enhanced digital control and measurement instruments ensure precise testing. The test sets can also be used for other high-current applications, such as verifying current transformer ratios, performing heating runs, or primary testing of high-voltage circuit breakers and associated protective relays.
DDA-3000 and DDA-6000 perform tests by simulating overloads or faults. Each set is an integrated testing system providing high-current variable output and includes all control circuits and instruments necessary for accurate, efficient, and safe testing of direct-acting circuit breakers. All DDA-3000 and DDA-6000 sets have identical functions, instruments, and operational characteristics. The main differences are their size, weight, and maximum output current capacity.
The DDA-3000 model is rated for testing circuit breakers up to 3000 amperes.
