The system consists of a control unit and a current unit. These two parts are portable, and INGVAR can be quickly assembled and connected.
The control unit features advanced functions such as a powerful measurement section capable of displaying the turns ratio, as well as time, voltage, and current. The second measurement channel can also be used to verify additional current or voltage.
INGVAR can calculate the transformer turns ratio, impedance, power, power factor/tangent delta (cos φ), and phase angle, with results displayed on the screen. Current and voltage can be presented as percentages of their nominal values. It also includes a quick lock function that captures short-term readings on the digital display, so when a voltage or contact signal is received at the input, the test object interrupts the current or injection is halted.
