Product description The FREJA 549 relay testing system is a versatile, lightweight, portable device designed for secondary protection relay testing. Offering up to 9 current channels, it can be operated manually via an integrated touch interface with FREJA Local software or fully controlled via computer using FREJA Win software. The built-in user interface is the second generation of Megger's automatic/semi-automatic manual user interface.
FREJA 549 supports high-voltage testing for high-resistance ground fault relays and high-current testing for all electromechanical, solid-state, and numerical overload relays, including voltage-controlled, voltage-limiting, and directional overload relays. All FREJA and SMRT test sets can be connected in series, with all channels synchronized in time and controlled as a single system for extreme testing scenarios, such as large bus protection schemes or simultaneous voltage application to multiple bus sections.
A large, easy-to-read high-resolution color TFT LCD display enables quick and easy manual, stationary, and dynamic testing. FREJA Local includes pre-configured testing procedures for automatic relay and protection scheme testing. Menu screens and function buttons on the touchscreen facilitate rapid and straightforward selection of testing functions.
Test results can be stored in the device's local memory and uploaded to a USB drive for data transfer or report printing. Test configurations and results are stored via Microsoft Explorer interface, allowing users to create custom test object structures. Each device comes with pre-installed software for fully automated testing on a PC.
