The PAM420 is a multifunctional phase angle meter designed for electrical system measurements. It can display phase angle, voltage, current, frequency, and time. The phase angle is calculated based on the relationship between two power signals, which can be two currents, two voltages, or any combination. Currents up to 25 A and voltages up to 500 V can be directly applied, with the input current range extendable via external current transformers.
Suitable for testing multi-phase measurement setups, protective relay testing, comparative testing at substations, and phase angle deviation verification on power transformers. It provides direct digital readings with an accuracy of 0.1°, requiring no calculations or interpretation. It can be calibrated locally, features a high-precision timer for contact or voltage triggering, and comes in a durable transport case.
