The MV DAC30 is a test set for AC cables with a 30 kV damping voltage and partial discharge (PD) diagnostics capabilities. It can detect and display PD activity in real-time, allowing immediate assessment of test results. It is also ideal for quality control of newly installed cables according to IEEE 400.4 and for monitoring the condition of old cable circuits.
The MV DAC30 is the world's first system combining a power source and a partial discharge transducer in a portable unit. This revolutionary design eliminates high-voltage influence on the operator and environment, ensuring maximum electrical safety. The system is divided into two modules, each weighing less than 34 kg, for convenience of use and transportation.
