The MOM690 micro-ohmmeter with built-in test management system was developed to complement our line of micro-ohmmeters. In addition to high current capacity, the MOM690 is equipped with microprocessor-based measurement, storage, and reporting functions. Built-in software allows for individual or series testing and result storage. With additional MOMWin software, test results can also be exported to a PC for further analysis and reporting.
With the MOM690, ranges are set automatically, resistances are measured continuously, and test results can be automatically recorded at a preset test current – simplifying the process.
After testing circuit breakers with a current transformer installed in their current circuit, such as reservoir-type circuit breakers and circuit breakers with insulating shields, some standards recommend demagnetizing the current transformer. This complex task can be quickly and easily performed using the MOM690's AC output. The AC output can also serve as a universal current source for various applications.
