The HVcontrol high-voltage test control unit consolidates all standard functions necessary for manual control of a high-voltage transformer. It includes a safety contact circuit, measurement of primary and secondary currents, and primary voltage. User-defined limits for primary and secondary currents trigger the main circuit breaker. The safety contact circuit and emergency stop are permanently connected and equipped with forced contacts.
Thanks to its flexible design, HVcontrol can be used on any high-voltage test system. Especially when upgrading older test setups, HVcontrol offers many improvements over conventional relay-based control systems.
The device features robust piezoelectric buttons. Each button has an illuminated ring indicating the status of the function it controls, providing easy and intuitive operation.
HVcontrol is supplied in a 19-inch rack (3HU), allowing easy replacement of old controllers of the same size. The rear panel offers removable screw terminals for various controllers and additional devices.
