The DET3TD is a digital ground resistance tester suitable for basic needs, providing digital testing capabilities for grounding and connection testing. Like the DET3TC, this device comes as a complete set: instrument, measurement leads, pins, batteries, calibration certificate, and a durable polypropylene case.
The DET3TD is easy to operate, with a ground pin tester rated IP54, making it suitable for outdoor use. An additional clamp around the ground connection allows testing without disconnecting the pin, preserving the grounding system (ART). The large, clear LCD display and thumb-sized test button make it particularly suitable for outdoor conditions.
In addition to ease of use, the DET3TD (and DET3TC) automatically checks the connection and status of P and C pulses, displaying their status on the screen. The device also includes a voltmeter for measuring grounding voltage, and it can measure resistance from 0.01 Ω to 2000 Ω and grounding voltage up to 100 V. To ensure accurate testing in noisy environments, it can suppress noise up to 40 V peak-to-peak.
