The DET2/3 high-resolution grounding tester is a reliable and compact automatic device designed for measuring grounding electrode resistance and soil resistivity. It can be used in large or complex grounding systems, including communication grounding systems and challenging testing environments, in accordance with standards BS 7430 (grounding), BS-EN-62305 (lightning protection), BS-EN-50122-1 (railway applications), and IEEE 81.
Test frequency, test current, and filtering can be quickly and easily adjusted to overcome adverse conditions affecting testing, and the wide test current frequency range with 0.5 Hz resolution can be used to eliminate errors caused by ground noise.
Thanks to its microprocessor control system, it provides a flexible and user-friendly approach to grounding testing, offering excellent fault detection capabilities and comprehensive test information displayed on a large color screen. The DET2/3 can provide real-time measurement tracking, graphically showing noise levels from the tested system – a powerful diagnostic tool for experienced grounding engineers.
The DET2/3 also features automatic frequency selection, scanning frequencies with the lowest noise levels.
