The elliptical clamp shape improves access to grounding cables and strips up to 50 mm in diameter.
The flat jaw interface requires no maintenance.
Measures grounding resistance from 0.05 Ω to 1500 Ω.
Measures true RMS leakage current to ground from 0.5 mA to 35 A.
Safety class CAT IV 600 V.
Backlit LCD display.
The digital ground clamps DET14C and DET24C represent a new generation of ground resistance testers. These devices induce test current into grounding systems and measure grounding resistance in multi-grounded installations without disconnecting the ground. They offer market-leading accessibility, advanced features, simple operation, and CAT IV 600 V protection.
This contactless ground tester can also:
Balance soil elements to reduce noise.
Balance grounding circuits.
Measure continuity of grounding circuits in main stations and hubs.
DET14C and DET24C also allow measuring true RMS current to ground up to 35 A. The ability to measure current flowing in the grounding cable is useful for safety, especially if the cable needs to be disconnected.
The elliptical head shape provides improved access to cables and grounding strips in tight spaces. The clamp head accommodates cables up to 37 mm in diameter and grounding strips up to 50 mm, suitable for use at power plants, substations, towers, and other facilities.
DET14C can store results for later display, and with DET24C, results can be uploaded via Bluetooth® to PowerDB or PowerDB Lite (Megger's data management software). Stored data are indexed by serial number, timestamp, and date for each measurement.
