Based on extensive experience in circuit breaker testing, Megger developed the TM1700 devices to offer the most useful and widely used features of high-quality analyzers at very attractive prices. The technology used in TM1700 is based on the popular and proven Megger TM1800 series, which remains the most attractive option for those requiring maximum flexibility in circuit breaker testing.
Among many key features inherited from the TM1700 series is the DualGround™ function. Dual grounding allows testing on both sides of the grounded breaker. This configuration significantly enhances operator safety by eliminating the risk of high-voltage induction in the device under test.
The TM1700 devices also feature active noise suppression, ensuring consistently accurate and reliable results, including timing and PIR measurements, even in electromagnetic noise conditions. All inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated, allowing all relevant measurements to be performed in a single test without changing connections.
The TM1700 series is available in five models, allowing selection of the configuration best suited to your needs, whether a standalone device or with computer control.
Standalone models are equipped with a large color touchscreen and an intuitive user interface supported by software that simplifies test template creation. They can also be controlled via PC if the CABA Win software is installed.
