OTS PB and OTS AF Insulating Oil Test Sets

The testing sets for insulating oils OTS PB and OTS AF are a series of automatic oil testing kits that perform precise dielectric breakdown voltage tests on mineral, ester, and silicone insulating liquids. This critical test indicates the fluid's ability to withstand electrical stress. All models feature precision, impact-resistant test tanks that are easy to clean and provide repeatable results, whether used in field conditions or laboratories. They also have a transparent, shielded cover and a large test chamber for easy access to the test tank and visibility of internal processes.
Test results are identified either by serial number or asset ID, and include date and time markings. OTS devices come with PowerDB Lite software from Megger for asset and data management, at no additional cost, offering an excellent tool for downloading and printing results. Devices are equipped with a built-in printer for immediate hard copies. Additionally, the AF model includes a barcode scanner.
We designed these test kits with your safety in mind. During testing, you can interrupt measurements at any time by pressing any key on the keyboard. This action immediately discharges high voltage and stops the test. The transparent cover provides sufficient visibility inside the chamber while being protected and electrically shielded with multiple grounding contacts.
All existing global testing standards are preloaded into the device for convenient automatic operation. However, if a new testing standard is adopted or an existing one is modified, you can configure three custom tests according to new requirements. This flexibility allows you to continue testing during the short period Megger updates the procedure files.
