DELTA4000 is an automatic set for measuring the power factor/tangent delta of 12 kV insulation, designed for immediate assessment of electrical insulation condition. In addition to traditional tests at industrial frequency (50/60 Hz), DELTA4000 uses a 1 Hz power factor/tangent delta to improve high-voltage transformer, bushing, circuit breaker, cable, lightning arrester, and rotating machine condition assessment. Using the same connection and software as for industrial frequency testing, 1 Hz enhances maintenance planning by reducing reliance on historical trends and proprietary databases.
The high-power variable frequency design generates its own test signal independently of network frequency quality, while the hardware employs the latest digital filtering technologies for response signal processing. As a result, the DELTA4000 series provides reliable results and stable readings in the shortest time with the highest accuracy, even in high-interference substations.
The DELTA4000 series works with PowerDB software for automatic testing and reporting or with Delta Control software for manual real-time testing.
Measurements include voltage, current, power (losses), power factor/tangent delta, inductance, and capacitance. Test results are automatically stored on a computer and can also be downloaded directly to a USB drive or printer.
The DELTA4110 test set is intended for use with an external computer (not included), while the DELTA4310A test set comes with its own onboard computer.
