The TTRU1 is a portable transformer turns ratio measuring device from Megger. In addition to polarity checks and turns ratio testing, TTRU1 can measure short-circuit impedance (leakage reactance) using the same single connection.
With color-coded wires, clamps, and configurable vector displays on the screen matching the transformer’s datasheet, simple setup ensures correct results on the first attempt.
Perform turns ratio testing up to 1000 turns on a single NiMH AA battery charge. When batteries need recharging, connect them to any standard USB charger or PC. After connecting to a PC, you can download TTRU1-EXP results and access the user manual and technical datasheet.
