The range includes two models: MIT515 (up to 5 kV) and MIT1015 (up to 10 kV), both supporting measurements of insulation resistance, dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), and polarization index (PI). PI Predictor™ from Megger reduces PI testing time by 50%, increasing efficiency when testing multiple phases.
The new innovative patented RE>Act test mode allows users to perform precise measurements by monitoring the rebound current. This revolutionary test mode ensures that the rebound current does not lead to false passes or damage to the insulation, helping to maintain safety. Additionally, the test mode can be used to prevent dangerous back voltages.
These devices do not have built-in memory and have a fixed operating/charge current of 3 mA — ideal for environments where advanced features such as remote control are not required. The high-performance protective terminal connector ensures measurement accuracy even under high leakage conditions.
Easy to operate, CAT IV 600 V protection class, and designed for demanding industrial, OEM, and utility applications, the Essential series provides quick and reliable results — hassle-free.
