The Megger Advanced insulation resistance testers series for 5 kV, 10 kV, and 15 kV are ideal for engineers and technicians performing insulation tests on transformers, motors, switchgear, and cables in environments up to 230 kV. These devices support IR, DAR, PI, DD, SV, ramp-up, and PDC testing (with software), providing the diagnostic depth necessary for condition assessment and maintenance planning.
Each model includes PI Predictor™ to accelerate testing, internal memory for storing results, and additional Bluetooth® for data export to PowerDB or CertSuite — no manual recording needed.
The new innovative patented RE>Act test mode allows users to perform precise measurements by controlling the absorption current. This novel test mode can ensure that the absorption current does not lead to false passes or damage to the insulation, helping to maintain safety. Additionally, the test mode can be used to prevent dangerous back voltages.
Choose one of the three models — MIT525/2, MIT1025/2, or MIT1525/2 — depending on the required test voltage. Thanks to a 6 mA noise immunity and high-performance protective terminals, the Advanced series provides reliable results where remote control and noise handling at the substation level are not necessary.
