The high-precision capacitance and power factor/dissipation factor meter CDAX605 is a test set designed for use with an external power source/generator. This high-accuracy tester combines bridge and vector measurements and can measure capacitive, resistive, and inductive loads.

Testing with the CDAX 605 can be performed at virtually any voltage level, depending on the equipment's nominal ratings, power source, and capacitor. The device accepts test currents up to 5 A from the tested insulation, which can be increased with an external current transformer.

The CDAX 605 is intended for laboratory, production, or field insulation testing of electrical equipment and insulating materials, as well as for calibrating CCVTs and other ratio transformers. It is a unique high-precision test set suitable for the most demanding applications, forming a complete insulation testing setup when combined with a high-voltage AC source and a standard capacitor.
