Product overview Short-circuit protection Equipped with a new circuit to support constant burning power Maximum burn current of 25 A Burn voltage smoothly adjustable from 0 to 15 kV Output current and voltage indicators Integrated start lock circuit and discharge device Pulse mode for locating ground faults The T22/13B 15 kV fault detection device is a highly portable high-voltage instrument primarily used for locating faults in low- and medium-voltage power cables, network, and control cables. It is mainly used for detecting high-impedance and periodic faults in low- and medium-voltage power networks. Additionally, it can be used with appropriate connecting devices and a time-domain reflectometer (TDR) for preliminary fault localization using the arc reflection method (ARM).
The high output power and short-circuit capability of the T22/13B allow for converting high-resistance and periodic cable faults into low-resistance shunts, down to zero short circuits, or drying out moist cable sections. The rugged enclosure of all high-voltage parts and automatic object discharge after power off ensure maximum operator and equipment safety.
