Compact and lightweight
The T22/1 high-voltage testing system is a portable test set consisting of two separate units: a control unit and a high-voltage unit. This separation allows the operator to use the test set on-site without transport vehicles. The set can be equipped with a rectifier for DC testing up to 80 kV. A lightweight, compact high-voltage transformer, insulated with SF6 gas, produces a high voltage of 75 kV RMS. The voltage is smoothly adjustable from 0 to 75 kV via a regulating transformer.

The device is mainly used for testing low-power test objects with AC voltage (e.g., high-voltage switchgear in metal enclosures) and for testing cable systems and equipment with DC voltage up to 80 kV using a rectifier. During rectifier operation, the voltage can be measured using a separate measurement resistor and measurement block M 401.

In the basic version, the AC output voltage is calculated and displayed by measuring the primary voltage of the high-voltage transformer and converting it using a transformation ratio (measurement block M 402). Alternatively, the voltage can be measured on high-voltage cables using a measurement resistor and block M 402/1.
