Product features Safe and rapid fault location using the latest Teleflex SX-1 technology High impulse energy for effective fault localization Various fault localization methods included High-performance fault localization systems Accuracy of 0.1% Removable battery-powered reflectance detector Complex multiple-arc ARM technology Pre-positioning of high and low voltage in a single modular unit Multistage overvoltage capacitors The SFX32 (or Surgeflex 32) cable testing and damage location system, rated at 32 kV and 1750 J, is a mobile system for damage detection and fault localization in low and medium voltage cables. The powerful ARM (Arc Reflection Method) is used for preliminary localization of high-resistance faults up to 32 kV. For fault processing, this device can be used with short-term burning at all voltage levels.
The SFX32 series consists of portable fault localization systems designed for various applications, including cable testing, preliminary localization, fault conditioning, pinpoint damage location, and sheath damage localization.
Systems include two modules: a high-voltage overvoltage block with DC testing/burning capabilities at selected voltage levels up to 32 kV, and a high-performance time-domain reflectometer (TDR Teleflex SX) with a sampling rate up to 400 MHz.
Using innovative time-domain reflectometry methods, SFX systems reduce troubleshooting time, improve efficiency, and ensure quick and reliable fault location even in more complex cases.
