The new devices feature a redesigned case, rear stand, and a compartment for six batteries with separate access to fuses. All units have cast enclosures for enhanced protection and an IP54 ingress protection rating.
The series employs a three-wire measurement configuration, allowing all three measurement leads for A, B, and E (or tip, ring, and ground) to be connected simultaneously. A pair of measurements can be selected via the ABE (TRG) button on the front panel, with confirmation displayed on the screen. There is no need to disconnect measurement leads for individual pair measurements.
Alternatively, these devices can be used as standard two-pole instruments.
