The MIT400/2 series enhances overvoltage testing capabilities with feedback-controlled test voltages that limit overvoltage to 2%, compared to the industry standard of 10-20%. Additionally, a variable range has been added, allowing any intermediate voltage from 50 V to 1000 V in 10 V steps, for specific testing requirements not covered by standard ranges.
New devices replacing the original MIT400 feature redesigned cases, rear stands, and compartments for 6 batteries with separate fuse access. All units have cast enclosures for increased protection and an IP54 rating against environmental elements. Furthermore, the MIT400/2 significantly speeds up circuit integrity testing, with a single auto-range function from 0.01 Ohm to 1.0 MΩ replacing the 'Ohm' and 'kΩ' ranges. Testing options for 200 mA and 20 mA are retained.
