The BITE receiver is a device for measuring battery impedance, designed as a direct replacement for the standard receiver supplied with original BITE, BITE2, and BITE2P units. It provides data storage capabilities without the need to replace the BITE transmitter.
It combines voltage leads, a clamp-on current sensor, and data storage in one unit. The device stores over 2000 data sets (element impedance, element voltage, and interconnect resistance). Stored data can also be uploaded directly to a computer via RS-232 port.
Powered by an internal NiMH battery pack, which can be recharged using a separate external charger.
