Product Description The alarm activates upon detection of a true fault Direct measurement of resistance and stray capacitance Direct measurement of short-circuit current and leakage current Adjustable current and voltage limits Powered from mains or internal battery Detects faults with resistance up to 400 kΩ Fault detection in AC or DC systems Operates in systems up to 600 V The MGFL100 battery ground fault locator detects ground faults in ungrounded DC and AC systems, DC battery systems, and protected IT networks. It also provides an alarm signal when a real fault is detected, automatically distinguishing between actual fault current and reactive current consumed by the system's stray capacitance.
MGFL100 measures ground fault resistance, system capacitance, real short-circuit current, and reactive leakage current. It also detects high-impedance ground faults caused by water ingress, as well as ground faults in high-leakage systems. The MGFL100 makes locating ground faults quick and easy by activating upon detection of a circuit with a real ground fault. No complex setup is required to eliminate noise or capacitance. Easily trace faults with lightweight transmitter and receiver. Set voltage and current limits protected by password to ensure you never overload your system.
The MGFL100 also allows detection of ground faults in isolated AC systems (IT) with grounding up to 600 V AC using an additional IT coupling filter.
