Optionally, these devices can also be upgraded for DC operation via a unidirectional rectifier. HPG 35 AC testing up to 35 kVRMS HPG 58 AC testing up to 58 kVRMS HPG 78 AC testing up to 78 kVRMS The two-section design allows the operator to use the device at a safe distance. The control unit manages the high-voltage transformer and includes a variator, current/voltage display instruments, a test duration timer, and safety circuitry.
The low-voltage winding can be continuously energized from zero to maximum, ensuring a certain output current is available for the specified period. Operating duration depends on the application and ranges from a few minutes to continuous operation.
