Connect these devices with the Ferrolux Rx audio receiver for easy troubleshooting of all localization issues, including cable tracing, cable identification, damage location, or metal pipe positioning. Choose the model with 12W or 50W output power depending on your application requirements. For higher power applications, the FLG250 is available as part of our PRIMEON cable testing system.
Ferrolux FLG12 and FLG50 can transmit all available frequencies simultaneously, eliminating the need to manually switch frequencies on the transmitter during line tracing. Along with the Ferrolux RX audio receiver, the system uses location methods such as SuperMax and SignalSelect to determine the direction of the signal current. This ensures accurate tracing even over a bundle of cables. Pulsed signals allow clear identification of the transmitter signal in noisy environments.
The Ferrolux FLG12 and FLG50 transmitters have built-in antennas for inductive signal coupling. A large color display and proven EasyGo menu provide intuitive control.
The device measures and displays the impedance of the tested object’s loop, output voltage and current, as well as the phase angle. The system can operate continuously when powered by capacitive loads (isolated gas pipes) or inductive loads (short-circuited cables) without overheating issues.
