Product description Automates battery voltage measurement during capacity testing Chain connection design allows expansion up to 2x120 cells High accuracy and stability for precise data collection Integrates with TORKEL software for test data management Win and PowerDB Wide voltage range Easy setup with multiple connection options for BVM system to the battery bank Megger BVM is a battery voltage monitor used for testing the capacity of large industrial batteries, typically used in substations, telecommunications facilities, and UPS systems in data centers. When used with a load device such as TORKEL and test management software like PowerDB and TORKEL Win, BVM enables fully automated battery capacity testing according to IEC standards. It also complies with NERC/FERC requirements.
BVM is designed in a modular form, with one BVM device per battery or 'bank' in the test chain. Each BVM connects to the next in a 'daisy-chain' configuration (up to 2x120 units), providing easy and cost-effective expansion for testing small and large battery bank systems.
Setting up the BVM system for testing is quick and straightforward. All BVM units are identical and can be connected in any position for battery testing, ensuring maximum flexibility and interchangeability. The 'Auto-Detection' feature allows the main device to automatically identify the number of batteries being tested and to provide sequential identification of each BVM in the test chain.
