Product description Ideal for locating battery ground faults, training, and demonstration Creates positive and negative ground faults Causes low and high resistance faults Develops capacitive phantom ground faults Creates multiple ground faults Works with both BGFT and BGL The BGFS ground fault simulator is a demonstration/training tool for tracing ground faults with the Megger Ground Fault Tracer (BGFT) and the Megger Ground Locator (BGL). BGFS provides an ideal training platform for learning the characteristics and localization of battery ground faults, offering a simple and easy method to simulate various types of ground faults (or earth faults). It can simulate positive or negative grounding, resistive and phantom capacitive grounding, as well as single or multiple ground faults. It can also generate high-leakage current ground faults.
Using BGFS, you can learn to characterize and locate battery ground faults with the BGFT megohmmeter, and understand how to use the Wheatstone bridge on the BGFT. It also teaches how to characterize and locate battery ground faults with the BGL megohmmeter.
