Product Description The ICM system from Power Diagnostix is a universal partial discharge (PD) measurement system. This versatile PD measurement device can be configured with various functions and accessories tailored to your specific testing objectives. It offers the highest degree of modularity and versatility, making it ideal for laboratory (QAQC) and on-site (online and offline) testing of all your assets.
As a multi-purpose PD measurement device, the ICMsystem provides features and options such as:
Piston-type particle spectrum analysis (PD) High-voltage measurement (HVM) Synchronization frequency from VLF to 510 Hz DC measurement mode Calibrated voltage measurement (DAkkS) Acoustic fault localization Partial discharge damage localization on cables Effective noise suppression to block phase-stable or phase-independent noise Radio interference voltage (RIV) measurement High-resolution phase patterns To detect the PD signal in the tested object, various coupling devices are available, including quadrupoles, coupling capacitors, and current transformers. The device provides effective noise suppression, blocking phase-stable noise as well as cycle-independent noise, enabling the use of the ICM system in noisy environments without significant PD data loss. Proper preamplifier selection can further improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
The ICM system is fully computer-controlled. All control elements and indicators are accessible via a graphical user interface on a PC screen, known as the 'virtual instrument.'
