The DLRO100 series of digital low-resistance micro-ohmmeters are portable, lightweight devices capable of delivering a test current of 100 A. They can be equipped with rechargeable internal lithium-ion batteries sufficient for up to 200 manual/automatic tests on a single charge. This autonomy allows easy testing of low resistance at high power practically anywhere, including locations without mains power.
To ensure reliable operation even in the most challenging conditions, DLRO100 devices employ an innovative circuit design that provides high noise immunity and stable readings. For physical protection, they feature IP54-rated enclosures, even when the cover is open during testing.
Operator safety in adverse conditions is guaranteed by a CAT IV 600 V safety class according to IEC 61010. Additional DC clamps support operation with double grounding. DualGround™ significantly enhances safety during work at substations and similar environments, allowing testing with grounding on both sides of the tested equipment.
DLRO100 devices have a wide range of applications, including testing busbar and cable connection resistances, measuring wire and cable resistances, and lightning arrester connection testing. They are also suitable for testing distribution devices and circuit breakers during manufacturing and field conditions, offering a smooth DC output current, which is especially valuable for circuit breaker testing.
The DLRO100 series devices measure from 0.1 μΩ to 1.999 Ω with a resolution of 0.1 μΩ. Results are displayed on a large LCD panel and, depending on the model, can also be stored in high-capacity internal memory for later access via display or USB download. Versions supporting remote control are also available.
