Precision coaxial attenuators from the ColorConnect™ series with color coding (AT series) are used to reduce the power of radio frequency, medium, or millimeter wave signals without distortion of their quality or waveform. Attenuators are often used to lower the signal amplitude to a measurable level or to protect measurement instruments from damage. They are also used to improve impedance matching between components by reducing reflection losses (double insertion loss) and effectively decreasing VSWR observed by neighboring components. The AT series precision coaxial attenuators feature color-coded connectors to minimize connection errors and are available with SMA, 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm, and 1.85 mm connectors for frequencies up to 65 GHz.
