PV-ISOTEST is an innovative solution in the field of PV system testing and inspection. It measures the insulation resistance of individual modules, strings, or entire PV fields up to 1500 V DC according to IEC/EN62446. Traditional insulation testers require a DC junction box to connect the positive and negative terminals of the module/string/field under test. PV-ISOTEST does not require any external device; it performs measurements fully autonomously and independently. Additionally, with the GFL (ground fault locator) feature, it indicates the location of any poor insulation in the PV circuit, such as water or moisture leaks.
