ICMcompact - Autonomous Partial Discharge Detector

Brand: Megger
Available on order
ICMcompact is an autonomous partial discharge detector from Power Diagnostix. This digital device is designed to assess the condition of medium- and high-voltage insulation systems and is commonly used for quality assurance, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), final testing, and post-repair inspections. It is also suitable for field operations.

ICMcompact is primarily intended for:

Factory acceptance testing of medium- and high-voltage assets
Distribution transformers
Measurement transformers (voltage and current)
Medium- and high-voltage cables
Electronic components (e.g., bipolar transistors with isolated gates)

It features a simple button interface and a display menu on the built-in LCD panel. Display modes include a simple partial discharge charge meter with adjustable needle sensitivity, monochrome phase-resolved partial discharge patterns for defect classification, and an oscilloscope-like display showing charge pulses with phase summation overlaid on the applied voltage waveform.

ICMcompact is an autonomous device but can be connected to a computer with installed Power Diagnostix software for screen captures or remote control.

To customize ICMcompact for your specific needs, it can be equipped with numerous additional functions and options:

Partial discharge spectrum analysis
Partial discharge fault location for cables with digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) function
Radio influence voltage (RIV) measurement
High-voltage measurement (HVM)
Analog triggering
Four- or twelve-channel multiplexer
Battery-powered and wireless operation, up to three hours of runtime (only in the Explorer case)
Local network and fiber optic serial connection
Additional inputs for recording supplementary data, such as...
