DET3TC can perform grounding tests on-site without disconnecting from utility services. The full kit includes everything needed to start testing, comprising the device, measurement probes, stands, batteries, and calibration certificate, all housed in a sturdy polypropylene case.
DET3TC is easy to use, features a large switch for toggling between two-pole and three-pole testing, and can be operated easily with gloves. Moreover, the design eliminates the need for installing shorting jumpers for two-pole testing.
The grounding tester has an IP54 protection class, making it suitable for outdoor use. Using an additional clamp around the grounding rod connection allows testing without disconnecting the rod, preserving the grounding system during testing (ART). The large, clear, easy-to-read LCD display and thumb-sized test button make the device particularly suitable for outdoor conditions.
