Multifunctional device for testing electrical safety, analyzing power quality, and verifying EVSE safety.
COMBI521EV is a new high-temperature device for testing and monitoring the safety of electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) according to IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/EN 60364-7-722 standards.
As a combined testing device, COMBI521EV also performs tests of electrical systems according to IEC/EN 61557-1, including continuity of protective conductors, insulation resistance (with PI and DAR calculations), total grounding resistance, residual current device (RCD) type B, A, and trip time and current for AC, line/short-circuit impedance with calculation of potential short-circuit current, phase sequence, and compliance.
It also measures and stores environmental parameters (illuminance, temperature), leakage current, and electrical quantities such as voltage, current, power factor, active power, and harmonics in single-phase systems.
Equipped with innovative AUTO function: selecting this and setting only the RCD current value, COMBI521EV sequentially tests overall grounding resistance, RCD trip time, and insulation resistance. After testing, the device displays all results with pass/fail indication using simple symbols OK or NOT OK.
Internal memory allows storing measurements and later transferring them to a PC via optical/USB connection. Thanks to the new HTAnalysis app, freely downloadable for iOS and Android, COMBI521EV can transmit measured and recorded data to tablets and smartphones, enabling operators to configure and share test results via HTCloud.
